Our special thanks to North Alabama Rare Plant Society for their help and support of the future Botanical Gardens. Generous donations of items needed for our greenhouse include sprinklers, timers and hoses. In addition, a deck box storage bin was provided, so that we can store and secure the equipment.

These items are used and much appreciated! North Alabama Rare Plant Society, along with our garden volunteers and donors share in being a part of Anniston’s future! Thanks again for everything you do!

Visit with Museum Staff at the Longleaf Gardens Gathering, Sun. Oct 10, 2-4pm at the future home of the gardens (the former Lenlock Comm Ctr, at the end of Museum Drive, in Lagarde Park). Come see the grounds and imagine the possibilities! This afternoon event is free and is open to the public. Bring your family, bring a friend, sign up to volunteer or just see what it's all about --no green thumb required!

We had a great turnout and raised a lot of money for the Botanical Gardens Project. A special thanks to the Cortez family and staff of Acapulco. Your support of the Gardens and the whole community is very much appreciated!

Longleaf Botanical Gardens Visit Acapulco Restaurant in Lenlock this Friday, September 17! All day, from 11am-10pm, a portion of food and bar sales will benefit Longleaf Gardens project! Museum "celebrities" will be there! Pick up a "Garden Gathering" brochure, or sign up for email reminders. Support the Gardens and enjoy some great Tex-Mex food.
